Job Description

  • Seating Product – Working knowledge of Front/ Rear Seats and related load cases
    • Meshing (Hypermesh/ ANSA)
      • Sheet metal/ Plastic parts meshing using Shell/ Solid elements
      • 1d meshing using beam elements
      • Well aware of various quality criteria and its importance
      • Meshing quality checks
    • FE Modeling (Hypermesh/ ANSA)
      • Working experience in
      • Various connection e.g., Welds, Bolt, Rivets
      • Thickness, Material assignment and relevant Ls-Dyna inputs
      • Various Contacts Modeling as per Ls-Dyna and meaning & importance of various contacts in Ls-Dyna
    • Analysis (Ls-Dyna)
      • Working experience in debugging Ls-Dyna Model
      • Knowledge of various Control/ Database cards
      • Working experience in Explicit analysis load cases related to seating systems
      • Various quality checks to be done on analysis results in detail
    • Post-Processing (HyperView/ mETA post)
      • Basic post processing (Stress/ Strain plots, Energies, 2d plots of Displacement/ Force/ Torque)
      • Interpretation of output

Software skills –  Hypermesh, ANSA, LS Dyna
