Job Description

What You’ll do

Requires use of a strong background in SW design, documentation, and implementation, on projects that may include any of the following list of responsibilities: Design applications involving multi-platforms. Design and develop new software product features. Contribute innovative ideas for multiple module architecture. Define product internal/external interfaces. Develop complex, multiple modules of code independently. Write complete functional and design specs independently. Write portions of product spec. Develop automated UT test plans. Interface with other functional groups. Evaluate and recommend tools. Solves complex problems at the system level. Define product level test and simulation strategy. Participate in Cisco’s Patent Program. The candidate would be required to provide leadership to design, implement, debug, maintain and innovate WLAN products and features.

The successful candidate will work in a very sophisticated development environment and requires technical expertise in several areas. Working on customer cases including escalations will be required to be part of job responsibilities. Open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success are the foundations of the team, and the candidate is expected to meet these requirements

Minimum Qualifications

B.E/B-Tech/ M.E / M-Tech

Desired Skills

  •  5 – 8 years of relevant experience in networking technologies & applications.
  •  Ability to drive system-level architecture and design. Ability to debug complicated issues.
  •  Strong C programming, SW design, testing, and debugging background
  •  Prior experience in Netconf, Yang Data Model a must
  •  Knowledge L2/L3 protocols esp. TCP, UDP, and IP
  •  Knowledge of Wireless 802.11 protocols, 802.11i, 802.11w, 802.11r
  •  Exposure to product life cycle and tools
